Full Paper Submission Guidelines for Authors

  • -All full papers should be submitted through the online ConfTool system using the corresponding author’s account, through which the original abstracts were submitted.
  • -After logging in, under “Your Submissions” section, you will find that for each abstract you have submitted, there is a corresponding “Full Paper” item with the same title as your original abstract. The link for the full paper upload is highlighted in yellow.
  • -Full papers should be submitted in Adobe PDF format. Final Paper Template.
  • -It is advised to modify your abstract (which appears “as submitted” under the “Full paper” item) to reflect any changes in the results and conclusions of the study. This version will be included in the conference “Book of Abstracts” and distributed among participants. This time, the abstract length should be no more than 200 words. In order to modify the abstract, click on “Edit Contribution Details” under the “Full Paper” item.
  • -Full papers should be uploaded by March 1, 2010.
  • -Detailed formatting instructions are summarized in a template available for download from the IYNC2010 File Repository. It is strongly suggested that the text of the paper be typed directly into the template or pasted from other document into the template as “unformatted text”. Please follow carefully the instructions specified in the template file.
  • -There is no restriction on the number of pages. However, the paper length should be sufficient to describe your work. Recommended length is 8-10 pages.
  • -The main acceptance criteria for the papers are originality and innovation. The main focus should be on the work performed by the authors with clear distinction from studies reported previously or by others.
  • The paper should be organized in accordance with commonly used scientific report structure and include the following:

  • -Introduction, where the problem and motivations for solving it are described.
  • -Clear statement of the work objectives.
  • -Methodology section with description of methods, equipment and computer codes used in the study for solving the problem.
  • -Results should be presented and discussed in a separate section.
  • -The final section should summarize the work and present main conclusions.

  • -Final decision on whether the paper will be presented as poster or in oral presentation will be made by the IYNC Technical Program Committee after review of the full papers. The authors will be given sufficient time to prepare for either type of presentation. Preparation and submission of the full paper is required regardless of the form of presentation.
  • -The papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and authors notified of the acceptance and provided with feedback on the final papers.
  • -All papers should be submitted in English. Proofread it carefully prior to the submission. If English is not your native language, ask your colleagues to help you proofreading your contribution.
  • -At least on of the co-authors must register for the conference in order for the contribution to be included in the conference proceedings.
