National Network Start-up Grant
IYNC contribution – up to $3,000

Short market research report and business plan for network creation are needed to support the project proposal. Guidelines on preparing a business plan and short market research are available for download.
A project proposal should envisage partnering with one or more existing successful YG networks from other countries to provide mentoring to the start-up. This is to ensure that an advice on the best practices and lessons learned is available to the group creating a new network. At least 80% of the grant should be spent in the country where the new network is being created. Up to 20% can be spent on the partnering network.
Support of the national Nuclear Society or/and other nuclear organizations and/or individual prominent figures in the national nuclear industry is required for this type of the projects, to be highlighted by providing supporting recommendation letters.
Contributions from other sources to the project costs are welcome and increase project’s chances to win an IYNC grant.
Application must be completed at least 2 months in advance of the event schedule date.

IYNC contribution equals to contribution from other sources but should not exceed $5,000
A project of this type should be proposed by a national YG network and should make a significant contribution to achievement of IYNC goals at the national level.
The proposers are encouraged to include an element of partnering with an YG network from another country to provide transfer of experience from the outside. At least 80% of the grant should be spent in the country which intends to implement the National Project. Up to 20% can be spent on the partnering network.
Support of the national Nuclear Society or/and other nuclear organizations and/or individual prominent figures in the national nuclear industry is desirable for this type of the projects.
Contributions from other sources are encouraged for a National Project proposal to be awarded support by IYNC. IYNC grant will be equal to contribution from other sources but will not exceed $5,000.
