IYNC Grant Programme

Deadline for application for travel grants to IYNC2022 (27Nov-2Dec 2022, Koriyama, Japan): October 6 2022 – (close).

Purpose : to encourage growth of IYNC Network nationally and internationally

Travel Grant

IYNC contribution – up to $1,000

These grants are designed to help support students and young professionals travel to the BiAnnual IYNC conference.

The grants are designed to increase the Global diversity of the meeting. Prospective applicants must fill out the required form, which details why the grants is being requested, what benefit he/she will provide to the meeting, and current involvement in your regional YGN organization.

The IYNC grant Committee will review the application and determine recipients in advance of the bi-annual conference.

IAEA TC grant program

DEADLINE September 30th

The International Atomic Energy Agency will provide financial support for the participation of a limited number of young professionals with accepted summaries, from Member States involved in the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme, to attend the  IYNC 2022 (Japan, November 2022).

Interested candidates are invited to apply through contacting the TC National Liaison Officers of their specific country. If unsure about your correct NLA contact, please reach out to Alice Cunha da Silva (alicecs@poli.ufrj.br, alice.silva@iync.org), International Organizations Chair of IYNC 2022.

When applying, kindly include the confirmation of summary acceptance and the summary as an attachment.

Requirements and procedures to apply for the financial support:

  • Candidates must have an summary that was approved before September 2nd that demonstrates an active participation in the event.
  • Applications must be sent through the usual official channels (National Liaison Officer/ National Coordinator for Regional Agreements). The submitted summary must be attached to the nomination. The IAEA Evaluation Committee will be responsible for the selection of the candidates.
  • DEADLINE to application is: September 30th, 2022

The financial support will cover registration fee, travel and living expenses.
